“Should I open it now?”

“Okay.”

It was Sena’s birthday and Shin had gotten him a birthday gift. He was uncertain with the idea of choosing a birthday gift however he did reject Sakuraba’s offer in helping him pick out a gift. He knew that this was something he needed to do on his own.

Which he did, it took him weeks of contemplation, researching, and finding in order to obtain the birthday gift that he had ended up getting. He was pretty confident about his choice and even brought it to Sena’s club room for him.

Wrapping paper crinkled in Sena’s hands as he removed the cover from his gift and held it up to get a good look at it. It jingled when he shook it a bit. Sena lips twitched a bit before he stopped himself and cleared his throat a bit. He tipped toed up and gave Shin a light kiss.

“Thank you.”

…and of course, Shin would have believed that his gift attempt was a success if it wasn’t for the fact that Sakuraba and Takami were laughing with Deimon’s team at the other end of the club room and saying “Wada Calcium CD3! It’s even worst than I thought it’d be”.
