“Hey, you know…”
They were on a break from road work, although Shin never did take breaks. He liked to train in long intervals, knowing that he was able to increase his stamina for games by training non-stop. However, his running partner wasn’t use to intense training programs. It surprised him, when he had first realized it, but he got use to it, going at Deimon’s running back’s pace in road work. He just trained twice as hard back in the gym at school. It worked out, in the end.
The boy turned and looked at him surprise, tearing his eyes away from watching as the sun slipped down and kissed the sky goodnight. His curious eyes stared at Shin. “Yes?”
“I keep on calling you Eyeshield,” Shin said, “It must be awkward.”
“I don’t really mind being called Eyeshield,” the boy responded to the statement. A moment of silence stretched between the two of them before Shin stood up suddenly.
“Let’s continue our road work.”
“Kobayakawa Sena,” the smaller boy said suddenly. “My name is Kobayakawa Sena.”
Shin smiled at him then, softly.
“Seijuurou Shin. Nice to meet you Sena.”
